Today, we’re announcing the v19.1 release of the Google Ads API. To use any of the v19.1 features, you must upgrade your client libraries and client code. The updated client libraries and code examples will be published next week. This release includes no breaking changes and maintains backwards compatibility for those who have already upgraded to v19.
Here are the highlights:
- Demand Gen: We have added support for ad group-level Channel Controls for Demand Gen campaigns. New methods are also available in Planning services to support Demand Gen.
- Local Services Ads: You can now submit feedback for your
LocalServicesLead
through a newLocalServicesLeadService.ProvideLeadFeedback()
method. - Video campaigns: We added new metrics and segments for Video campaigns to query reach metrics with demo adjustment. You can also retrieve Audio Ads using the API.
- Shopping ads in Performance Max: When you apply brand exclusions to Performance Max campaigns, you can now override them specifically for Shopping ads to allow these ads to appear in searches for excluded brands.
- Conversions: You can now set a
google_ads_conversion_customer
while creating a new customer using the Google Ads API. - Planning services: We have introduced several new functionalities to support Demand Gen campaigns.
